How To List An App On The App Store
Getting to the point where you’re ready to submit an app to the app store is a huge accomplishment (and deserves a pat on the back)!
First, congrats on this huge milestone. Now, whether you have an app that’s ready to hit the market, or if you’re in the market for a great developer to help build your app, this article is for you!
There are two primary app stores that will help bring your app to the market. The first one is the iOS App Store, and the second one is the Google Play store. Each of these platforms has a huge number of daily users and can easily help make your app a huge success.
The iOS App Store
The iOS App Store is where iOS (or Apple) users will go to download your app. The process of submitting your app to the iOS App Store typically can take 1-2 weeks, depending on a few different things.
First, you’ll need to have an Apple Developer Account. Once you have this, you’ll need to get a D-U-N-S number for your company, which is a unique ID that is assigned to your business from Dun & Bradstreet. Once you have your accounts in order, you can submit your app to Apple for review. This should take a few days for approval, at which point your app will be ready for download!
The Google Play Store
The process for getting your app ready for download by Android users is easier and quicker than the iOS App Store. You’ll first want to start by getting your Google Developer account ready. Once you have your Google Developer account, you’ll submit your app, in a .apk file, to the Google Play Store. After a quick review, your app will be ready for download by Android users!
